Aphelia Web Design and Digital Imagery is a small, one woman operation. I execute every stage of design and implementation so I can work closely with clients to realise their visions and personally answer any questions.
As an experienced visual artist and designer, my goal is to make your site look fantastic and communicate effectively, whether you're after elegance and simplicity or sparkle and impact. As an experienced web designer, I understand the challenges of designing for a range of browsers, platforms, connection speeds and users. I will work with you to give you a site that loads quickly and is easy to navigate and use, as well as being visually stunning.
I am fully versed in the use of Cascading Stylesheets as a means of separating your website's content from its appearance, which means your website will be easy to maintain, download quickly, and meet high accessibility standards.
I am also fully versed in the use of plain English, and I pride myself on being particularly good at demystifying the process of having a website built. I will explain all your options and their pros and cons so that you can make informed decisions as to what your want or need.
I can create your site from scratch or overhaul an existing site. Either way, I keep the lines of communication open throughout the process, giving you as much (or as little) control over the details as you want. Whatever the site's purpose; marketing a product, advertising an event, broadcasting information or exhibiting images, I will create a site which is beautiful to look at and a pleasure to use.
