Aphelia Web Design and Training is a small, one woman operation. When building or overhauling websites, I execute every stage of design and implementation personally, so I can work closely with clients to realise their visions and personally answer any questions.

As an experienced visual artist and designer, my goal is to make your site look fantastic and communicate effectively, whether you're after elegance and simplicity or sparkle and impact. As an experienced web designer, I understand the challenges of designing for a range of browsers, platforms, connection speeds and devices. I will work with you to give you a site that loads quickly and is easy to navigate and use, as well as being visually stunning.

I am well versed in the use of standards compliant XHTML and Cascading Stylesheets to provide the most flexible and stable site using industry standard code techniques. I also build sites using open source and proprietary content management systems, like WordPress and ExpressionEngine, allowing clients to take control of their site's maintenance once it is built with minimal training.

I am also fully versed in the use of plain English, and I pride myself on being particularly good at demystifying the process of having a website built. I will explain all your options and their pros and cons so that you can make informed decisions as to what your want or need.

I can create your site from scratch or overhaul an existing site. Either way, I keep the lines of communication open throughout the process, giving you as much (or as little) control over the details as you want. Whatever the site's purpose; marketing a product, advertising an event, broadcasting information or exhibiting images, I will create a site which is beautiful to look at and a pleasure to use.
